Alternative, scene, and grunge fashion all started off separate from the mainstream crowd at a time.
Those styles themselves were based on being different, showing that style is also a reflection of who we are.
style is supposed to show the artistic side of each of us, to help us find who we are comfortable with.

Aedon Ashes – Rainbow Hair

May 31, 2013 in May 2013 Articles

1 If necessary, bleach hair to a light/platinum blonde. Do not condition hair if you are coloring your hair right away.

2 Section hair using ponytail holders. You can do this any way you like.

3Using a highlighting wand or small hair color brush, thoroughly apply the color without letting it touch other sections. Wrap in plastic rap or tin foil if desired. Remember, the rainbow is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.

4 Wait anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours. You can apply heat every once in a while to help the color set in.

5 Rinse out one section at a time to prevent bleeding, and put a conditioner on your hair.

6 Dry your hair and enjoy your rainbow!

Easy Chalked Hair

What you’ll need:

1. Newspaper or a sink to lean over (chalking can get messy!)
2. A spray bottle of water
3. Plastic gloves
4. Chalk pastels
5. Flat iron
6. Hair dryer (optional)

Steps:

IMPORTANT:
– Have your hair straightened and/or styled before-hand.
– Wear a shirt you don’t care about getting dirty.
– Do NOT comb your hair after chalking – even if it’s dried. Combing
it will take out the color.

1. Lay out your newspapers or find a sink.

2. Put on your gloves so you don’t dirty your hands.

3. Taking your spray bottle, find a section of your hair and spray it
individually.

4. Then, pick out a color and turning it horizontally, run it down the
individual piece of wet hair until it is as vivid as you’d like. Avoid
running it up – this will only tangle your hair!

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 on other strands of hair until you’re
satisfied. You’re done chalking!

6. Now at this point, you can choose to either blow-dry your hair with
a hair dryer, or wait until it dries on its own.

7. When your hair is dried – voila! You can now show it off
for…approximately one day. 🙂

-HOW TO CREATE ANIME/ DOLL EYES and face-
FIRST : get your make up materials of course<3 you will need black eye shadow, black eye liner, white eyeliner and or shadow, and you can use circle colored contacts if you want, but it is not required. Toner, bronzer, liquid and powdered foundation, blush, a toner lighter then your complexion and concealer. And if you feel as though you need fake lashes then fake lashes…
STEP ONE:
first apply the foundation of your skin tone
Step two:
Then take the Toner that is lighter then your skin and lightly brush the foundation that is lighter than your skin over your face.. to give you that doll-like skin.
STEP THREE:
Smile and lightly apply blush until you get the preferred pinkness.
STEP FOUR:
If you have contacts place them in now, if not just proceed to step 5
Step FIVE: ..
apply a thin line of white eyeliner/ eye shadow on your bottom eye lid so that your eyes look larger.
STEP SIX
do a large/ long cat eye on your upper eye lid
STEP SEVEN
trace the lining of your bottom lid right below the white line that you created earlier
STEP EIGHT
Use the black eye shadow to create a smokey eye just above your eyeliner 🙂
Afterwards, if you have fake eyelashes.. now would be a good time to place them on directly above your one lashes
STEP NINE
From the inner corner of your eyebrow use take a bit of bronzer (Or a foundation darker then your skin tone) and rub it on the sides of your nose
STEP 10
use the lighter foundation from the bridge down to the peak of your nose
STEP 11
Make sure you blend this all in well 🙂
STEP 12
Go over the steps to make sure you didn’t skip any steps ^_^ and if you didn’t then hopefully you have your desired doll-like complexion and face.

-How to make kandi–
Things you’ll need:
Beads (an assortment of different styles and colors is best)
String (you can use just about any string, but beading string works best)
Scissors
Tape
1. Measure the string to the length of your wrist, and add four inches to it. That will ensure it will fit your wrist once the beads are all on. Cut the string. (:
2. Tape the end of the string to a table top, counter, or whatever surface you happen to be near. I like to use the lids of the beads.
3. Start stringing your beads!! 😀 You will normally use about 25-28 beads. They can be in any order, size, or shape. Fun ones to add in are charms. If to want the bracelet to say something, add lettered beads. I like letters and glow in the dark beads best. :3
4. Once you finish beading, carefully remove the tape, and tie the ends of the string together to make a bracelet! Knot it about 5-8 times, to make sure it won’t come undone.
5. Now you can wear your brand new bracelet! You can make ’em, share ’em, and trade ’em!
I hope you enjoy making bracelets as much as I do! <3

HOW TO MAKE A WOLF TAIL 😉 *howls*

Supplies:
~ sissors
~ glue gun
~ glue sticks (for glue gun)
~ Needle
~ Thread
~ fake fur (any color you desire)
~ A hook clip (like the ones you use for keys) or wire
~ cotton

Step 1: Cut a strip of fake fur approximately 28 inches by 5 inches. Use thick fake fur as wolves have bushy tails.

Step 2: Lay the fabric on a flat surface, fur side down. Rip small pieces of cotton batting and line the tail from top to bottom with the pieces.

Step 3: Cut a piece of wire approximately 30 in. long. Create a loop on each end of the wire. Place the wire on top of the fabric and cotton batting. Don’t add in the wire if you’d rather use the hook clip. (i used the hook clip for my tail)

Step 4: Add an additional layer of cotton batting on top of the wires if you do use the wires.

Step 5: Place a line of fabric glue along the edge of one side of the material. Wrap the other side around, so the batting and wire are contained within, and press onto the fabric glue. This closes the length of the tail.

Step 6: Use the needle and thread to stitch both ends of the tail closed. Then use the wire to wrap one end around a belt, securing it into place.

step 7; If you decided to use the hook clip, you then glue one end of the clip (clip trigger facing opposite of fur) to the top end of the tail. After use the needle and thread to stitch and secure the glued hook clip part into place.

AND FINISHED!

ENJOY! 😀

~How To Cut Scene Hair~
1.)Part your hair, leave the bottom of your hair out.
2.)Twist a piece of hair, go down your hair with the razor and you will feel it getting thinner.
3.)Thin the rest of your bottom half of hair.
4.) Get the middle piece of your hair,Take a strand and use the razor and cut However short or long you want. To get it scene, use the razor for choppy layers. To make it normal, use hair-cutting scissors. Make sure not to miss anything.
5.)Do the rest of your hair like that heading to the top part of your head, each layer shorter than the last.
6.)Make the top layer shortest

Now you have a scene hair cut! 🙂

We all know that if you are different, then you are judged. Scene
Queens are called Queens for a reason because we lead. Even through
all the hate-filled stares we get, and like myself some looked down on
by family. But in the end, We were the ones who dared to be different.
Who can judge us for that? When they didn’t have what it takes to be
separate from the rest. All Scene Queens are different but we are all
alike too, And we continue to grow and support each other. Anyone can
be a Scene Queen! Laugh at anyone who tells you otherwise, And make a
huge Scene.
