 I just wanted to tell everyone dont worry what others think of you. your scene because you love expressing yourself right? at least thats why i am. i cant tell you how to look scene cuz really scene is in the eye of the beholder and im sure you know the basics. my personal style is
*red lipstick
*skinnies, dresses, skirts with neat patterns
*bright eyeshadow
*diamonds around my eye
*eyeliner! (and i do a design on one side normally)
*band ts, v-necks, bright colors
*nose piercing, snackbites
*i dye my hair bright red
*most importently i dont worry about how others precieve me. its how i precieve myself that really matters.

Scene Fashion Tips:

So, you have the hair,you have the attitude, but what you’re missing is…. The clothes! Here are some popular clothing styles in the scene world.

Skinny Jeans Or Colorful Leggings:
A very popular style is REALLY colorful skinny jeans and leggings, and generally anything that helps you stand out in the crowd.

Band Or Graphic T-Shirts:
These are very popular,just buy your favorite band’s merchandise or a T-Shirt with a cute picture and your set!

Shoes
Vans or converse are very popular, but be creative with stuff like heels or skate shoes!

The most important part of your outfit is to make it unique! Use your creativity, and go out and rock the scene world with your unique outfits!

 Scene is colorful n creative. People mistake scene people for emo. Scene kids have there own style n creations. You get to be colorful and nice. To be scene you need have your own style be colorful and creative. You can wear colorful makeup n eyeliner. I know lots of scene kids cause most of them are my friends. Also if you want to be scene you got to have tease hair. Dying your hair lots of colors or just one color is scene.wear lots bracelets . Most scene like hello Kitty Elmo little kid stuff. Listen to hardcore music or electronic or Indie whatever music.

Confidence! That is the key to being scene. You don’t need to listen to all those stupid jerks that try to put you down and be mean. You are amazing and incredible unique. NOT a single person has the same crazy, sweet, coolness that you do. Don’t let teachers, parents, classmates, or any0ne else tell you that your weird, a freak, or anything else that is mean.
I have been called so many names and I take them as compliments. They don’t have the guts to be as amazing as me so why should I give two hoots what they say. And you should do the same.

 Scene is more playful. choppy, teased colorful hair, or usually black hair. BOLD colorful makeup, lots of eyeliner! Piercings are most likely used, like: snake bites, septum, angel bites and/or monroe, Most all have some sort of gauges small to large. Still have a myspace with thousands of friends and with pictures of themselves; a tuff/soft mean face or a rawr ima dinosaur face! so hardxcore. Belongs to certain websites like: Vampirefreaks.com and Have a youtube account. livejournal community called “gungunbangbang” or “murderscene”. Anything involving guns, or bang, or glamour, electric, shock, lust, or c***, is super cool and makes you in a certain group! Concerts are a must! Loves dinosaurs and robots and chibi animals, Pokemon, Little girl bows and bandanas because its! just the way the style is. I find all of these things attractive, cute, plushxCORE! because its just what TOTALLY SCENExCORE is! :3

Alternative doesn’t obey to style trends or popularity. Its more like fringe style, and grunge fashion. attention grabbing, more creative and artistic. Alternative fashion is more remembered by what it looks like then what its really made to be. Alternative fashion has often been apart of someones ideal look or group, to rebel against some beliefs or more popular styles. It’s a self-expression that challenges the boundaries of “appropriate”, fashionable, or practical!!

 Scene Hair – it’s a piece of art, we have to say! Great, unique and it looks different every time. But how to create it, and most important – keep it? It’s a bit time consuming, but with few tricks up your sleeve your hair will look Scene in no time 🙂

First – for your hair to look Scene, the top layers need to be chopped – you can do it yourself or ask at the hair salon for short choppy hair. You will need to tease them by the roots for the uplifted effect, and spray the teased part with a hairspray. Now the bottom layers will need to be longer, thinner, with colourfull streaks (very optional) and most important – they need to be as straight as your BF. To get this effect you can use the hair straightener (first spray your hair with heat-defence spray) and put some wax on the ends. Second option is to clip some hair extensions in, it gives you great choice of styles / colours / looks. I personally opt for the first option, as hair extensions can easily weaken your hair – so can’t recommend it myself. But it’s a great and fast fix for night out or special occassion.

Now you can put some bows / hair clips in your fringe, or just some cute hair band. Have fun and good luck 🙂

 It was in sixth grade I first really understood that I had a different style.
I liked darker clothing with bows and details. I liked scene, emo and gothic clothing styles but it wasn’t accepted where I lived. Me and my friends talked about clothes a lot and they didn’t think it was a good idea for me to start dressing in that way. And I didn’t.
I didn’t for three years.
That’s how long it took for me to pick up the courage and dress the way I wanted to.
Now I’m happy with my style and I’m proud of it.
I want other people to see it as well and that’s why I want to become a scene queen.
I hope it inspires other to dress how they wanna even if it’s not an alternative style. We shouldn’t be afraid of what other people think.
