Being a scene girl in a high school of preps.

1. Scene is exactly what the name implies. Make a scene! Don’t stand in, you were born to stand out!

2. Be nice. Don’t be chirpy or give off a bad impression. i’m not saying be a goody good teachers pet, if someone messes with you, dont stand for it but dont put the style to shame, just be chill.

3. Make friends with others like yourself. That girl with the snake bites? go say hi. That quiet loner guy? go talk to him. Start your own group.

4. Don’t let the preps feel superior or make you feel like a weirdo. They’ll talk about you because they’re jealous. Be the fruit loop in the bag of cheerios, be bold.

5. Tease your hair, straighten, have crazy colours or just black/blonde. Keep dressing and doing your hair as you please.

6. Maybe you’ll start a trend and other scenes will emerge. Try to however, avoid posers or people who claim to be emo because they cut themselves. Cutting is a problem, not a style.

7. Just be yourself and have fun.

You have problems with your makeup staying on,or does it just not look its best?Theres a very easy was to fix that. It’s simple and quick. All you have to do it go to your average Wal-mart
and go down the makeup ile.Look for the brand Hard Candy. They have a clear glue that if you aply after putting on your eyeliner it will stay,or if you wana put your eye shadow on you would put the special glue on and then put the eye shadow and this will help prevent your makeup from going to one place to another.Problem solved.

My article? Scene style. Mostly what I have to say is that emo and scene-Not the same thing. Scene is about bright colors and “big” hair. It’s about having fun. And Emo….well it’s the opposite. I love scene style, I have been scene since before scene became uber popular <3. I am not sure what I am supposed to write here so I guess I am just rambling…oops haha…I really hope I have a chance to be a site model on here <3 <3 thanks for looking my application over! Scene Rules!

My scene style involves band shirts, skinnys, converse, dark makeup, and big choppy hair. I have helped many girls with their hair to make it “scene” most of the time they love their hair and keep it that way. I have size 2 gauges and used to have snake bites Im getting them redone and will put up pictures soon. <3 Live Laugh Love Die is my moto and it is the truth.

People with scene fashion always succeed to stand out from the crowd and never fail to draw in a lot of critiques.

Nothing stands from the Scene look more than the Scene hairstyle. A long side fringe (bangs) or even just a straight fringe. With just one colour or even many colours dyed through their hair. Back combing of the hair is common under or even on top of the layers. A common hairstyle for scene hair is short in the back and long in the front.

Secondly comes the scene clothing. Lots of accessories which may include colourful braceletes, necklaces, big earrings, ect. Piercings are big in the scene fashion as snake bites, septum piercings and plugs are very popular and even tattoos are common. Skinny jeans, strappy tops and bows are a must for most of the girls who like the scene fashion and skinny jeans and v neck t-shirts for the boys.

People who love the scene fashion also love to stand out from the crowd, but the most important thing is to have a good personality. Not everyone likes anyone too cocky but not everyone likes someone who is too shy. Try to find a middle ground.

Scene fashion is mainly about the hair and makeup. The bigger and bolder your hair and makeup the better. It is also important to wear bright and colorful clothes. Big jewelry goes nicely with the fashion. Scene fasion is all about being bold.

How to tease your hair!(:

Straighten your hair. Make sure you include your layers to make teasing your hair easier. Do not forget to use a heat protectant for your hair – scene hair gets

damaged easily, with all the teasing and straightening. The least you can do is take every precaution to prevent damage as much as possible.
Section your hair into manageable pieces. Clip your hair back into manageable chunks similar to sectioning it for blow drying
Teasing Take the first section near to your crown and tease it. Backcomb the hair section from the tip to the root of the hair.Seal the teased section with a firm hold

hairspray. Spray your hair after every section to stop it falling down while you tease the rest
Teasing some more Repeat the teasing and hair spraying for the other sections. Continue to tease and hairspray the other sections of your hair.Lightly brush the

highest layers. Brush the top layer of teased hair gently to prevent your hair looking ratty. You can also take this opportunity to adjust pieces of your hair and

perfect it.
When finished, use both hands to smooth back your hair, or, for extra volume, push up the layers of your hair from the roots with your fingers. Fluff your hair by

shaking your head a little.
Done! Hold the hair with more hairspray. Spray the hair with more hairspray to hold it and finish it off!

How To Get Perfect Skin.

1. It is very important that you have a good skincare routine, I recommend Clearasil products as they have detailed routines to follow.

2. Eat healthily and drink lots of water!

3. Get yourself a good quality foundation with moisturisers amd spf protection.

4. Dust a light mineral powder over your foundation to set it and to mattify your skin, you can keep this with you for touch-ups throughout the day, but you don’t have to.

I hope this helped! Xoxo
