Here are some ways to prevent your hair from getting totally destroyed, because when your scene, your hair’s gonna take a TON of damage. One good way of protecting your hair is using lots of conditioner/heat protectant. Your hair will have a lot less split ends if you blowdry your hair on a cool setting. And a good hair dye tip: keep the dye from bleeding into the rest of your hair bye using conditioner on the parts you dont want to dye. I hope these tips help your hair grow shiny and healthy!

How to be scene: This is such a backfiring topic. What’s the goal of being scene? To be unique, right? But what IS scene? Yes, we’re different from the preps and jocks, but we’re our OWN stereotype. As much as we’d like to think we’re SOOO much different from everyone else, I promise there is someone else in the word with the same shoes and hair bows as you. Which gets me into discrimination. Even though we’re teased (like our hair HAHA!) we shouldn’t be like “Oh yeah, those preps, they’re so dumb and they all look alike” because by doing that, we’re just as bad as they are. What I’m trying to get at is that we’re all struggling teens and we need to not make it rougher for another. We’re all in this together, no matter what stereotype (although, scene kids are DAMN sexy :D) Thanks –! HaLeY_hAiiRsPrAy

You don’t have to have the long, perfect, colored hair to be scene. So all you girls with short hair [Like mee] don’t stress about it. The way I style my short hair is by straightening my bangs and bottom layers perfectly flat, then for my upper, shorter layers, I take my hair straightener and straighten them straight up. Like a mohawk kinda.. I keep doing this to the whole left side of my head, then straighten my right side perfectly flat. Then I softly smooth down my hair a little so instead of sticking straight up, it looks like it’s teased :3 I hope this helped!!
Love,

I think being scene takes effort, its not just a label but a statement. scene girls are beautiful, the regular scene girl would have extensions, lots of make up and died hair. I want to try to make something new, I may have short hair but im challenging myself to go bigger than that. to take a risk. im trying to not only make a point, anyone can be a scene but not every one can be a scene queen. its my dream to be a model, like many girls. but one question your gonna get a lot is can you do it? and i know i can, its just the madder of how im gonna get there. i hope putting this in i can help me start a career in the modeling business.
