Scene Hair – it’s a piece of art, we have to say! Great, unique and it looks different every time. But how to create it, and most important – keep it? It’s a bit time consuming, but with few tricks up your sleeve your hair will look Scene in no time 🙂

First – for your hair to look Scene, the top layers need to be chopped – you can do it yourself or ask at the hair salon for short choppy hair. You will need to tease them by the roots for the uplifted effect, and spray the teased part with a hairspray. Now the bottom layers will need to be longer, thinner, with colourfull streaks (very optional) and most important – they need to be as straight as your BF. To get this effect you can use the hair straightener (first spray your hair with heat-defence spray) and put some wax on the ends. Second option is to clip some hair extensions in, it gives you great choice of styles / colours / looks. I personally opt for the first option, as hair extensions can easily weaken your hair – so can’t recommend it myself. But it’s a great and fast fix for night out or special occassion.

Now you can put some bows / hair clips in your fringe, or just some cute hair band. Have fun and good luck 🙂

It was in sixth grade I first really understood that I had a different style.
I liked darker clothing with bows and details. I liked scene, emo and gothic clothing styles but it wasn’t accepted where I lived. Me and my friends talked about clothes a lot and they didn’t think it was a good idea for me to start dressing in that way. And I didn’t.
I didn’t for three years.
That’s how long it took for me to pick up the courage and dress the way I wanted to.
Now I’m happy with my style and I’m proud of it.
I want other people to see it as well and that’s why I want to become a scene queen.
I hope it inspires other to dress how they wanna even if it’s not an alternative style. We shouldn’t be afraid of what other people think.

Dyeing to Deep Condition

This is for the girlies who dye or bleach their hair.
Yeah you know, you knooow your hair is damaged.

But what are you going to do about it?

You already use heat protectant before you blow dry and straighten your hair to keep it from getting damaged, right?

(If you don’t already you should. I recommend one that protects up to 200 degrees but any one
is better than none.Let me stress that you use it before you blow dry your hair, not just when you straighten it. That is heat!!)

What more can you do?
Deep condition.
I recommend using Aussie 3 Minute Miracle

How do you do this?
1. shampoo your hair as normal.
2. apply your deep conditioner.
3. depending on your dryness leave on for 1hr-2hrs.
4. Rinse thouroughly and Dry(using your heat protectant)
5. ENJOY YOUR SOFT AND SMOOTH HAIR!

Your makeup
makeup is a defined signature of who you are depending on who you are you can change the colors. Shadowy makeup
1. Apply a light base on eyelid (white)
2.apply darker shade(grey) in center of eyelid.
3. Apply darkest (black or dark grey) at corner of eyelid and make sure all of the colors blended well. Make the darkest wing out for a more exaggerated look

A scene queen is a girl who is really popular or “famous” on the internet. You can easily find their profiles on webistes such as Myspace, LiveJournal, Facebook, or Buzznet. Scene queens are “famous” because: they dated a guy in a popular emo or hardcore band, they have alot of friends on Myspace, Buzznet etc., they are friends with another scene queen. Sceen Queens wear alot of large jewlery. They take millions of pictures of themseleves and their friends. They go to shows often. Most have unique and often hideous hair. Once they become popular most Scene Queens get their own Clothing Line, Jewlery Line, Photography Company or Band.

Over time, in the American society, even now, the coloured people have
always been looked down on. Over the past few years, an amazing,
beautiful style has come out as ‘scene’. The majority of these Scene
Queens or Scene Kings are white or ‘Angelos’. Why? Because society has
told people of colour our skin isn’t beautiful because it’s dark. But
along with beautiful white Scene Queens, I am proud to say that I have
also seen dazzling Mexican, Asian and black scene girls. I think it’s
important to let every ethnicity be free to be who they are, without
taking anyone’s crap for it. So this is why I, want to be part of
SQ.com.

I’m pretty sure a lot of Scene Queens are judged for how they look.
But who cares! It’s what we like and what we are into! Yeah…our hair
is big, our make up is funky, and our clothing is flabbergasting!
Good! We’re unique in our own way! Enjoy how you are! Love life!
