What is Scene

March 20, 2012 in February 2012 Articles

What is Scene? Its expression, confidence and how you make your style your own! Don’t let anyone tell you to stop doing something because they think its to different. If they care about you they will accept the way you are. When you are confident, you aren’t letting anyone call you a “Wannabe” or “Poser”. You just tell them you are your own person and ignore their comments. 😀

Okay, so I am doing my article on “scene clothing” , most “scene” kids I know wear bright colored clothes, and things to express their personality. Like an example would be music notes, if you love music you usually wear things realating to that item. Band t-shirts,skinny jeans, heels or vans, flats, converse. Lots of necklaces and jewelry, the “scene” haircuts, long or short pointed at end, and listens to bands that express themselves, usually hardcore band or mello bands, from asking alexandria to sublime, i listen to both, but being “scene” is to be original and creative. So do what you like and what makes you happy.

To be scene, you must first wear skinny jeans. This is a necessity in life for me. Also, you don’t have to wear make up, I don’t on some days, but you can’t wear, well NEVER wear Aero or American Eagle or any of that stuff. You wanna stand out but not dark, more of a colour fashion. You have to wear colours, you must be bright and out loud.

Hello People Of today! I believe that anybody can do anything if you put your mind to it. I hate people who judge and bully! I say if you want to wear/do something different then DO IT! If you wanna jump around in a barney suit singing your ABC’s then DO IT! People who truly care for you will love you no matter what you do! The people that hate you for being you are not worth a fuck! They are to worried about others when in all reality they need to worry more about themselves!

Hai guyss!!! Ok, so the first thing I want to say is that SCENE and EMO are not the same thing. Scene people are loud and colourful, while emo is the opposite. I know how a lot of people say you have to wear a lot of makeup and have big colourful hair and all that but you don’t!! You just have to be yourself!! Another thing that people don’t understand is the difference between scene and emo. Alot of people don’t even know what scene is, so they’ll just call you emo… I’ve been there way too many times. But you can just tell them “I’m not emo!! I don’t cut myself and I’m loud and colourful!!!” Hopefully then they’ll understand. Also, a lot of preppy people don’t understand scene people, they might call you names or make fun of you, but you just have to remember that they don’t know ! who you really are and are just trying to make themselves feel better!! So next time, just ignore them and keep that in mind! :3 ♥♥♥
THANKS FOR READING!! ♥♥

When you think os scene girls most people imaginewildly awesome hair, hello kitty necklaces and jackets, hottopic clothes and tutus. But most scene girls aren’t all into this, its just a sterotype people have come up with to label us as a particular group.
People call me scene because of my teased blue hair and my skinnies and hotttopic band shirts of suicide silence and fallin in reverse. But how does this make me scene? If anything it jus means i spend WAY too much time in th emorning on my hair and alittle too much time shopping in hottopic, okay… alot of time.
In my case, and i cant talk for everyone, i DO own hello kitty, hottopic clothes and a tutu. But that doesnt mean im scene, does it? Personaly i think it means im alittle flambouant which is basically what scene is if you really think about it. Scene is a style of flambouancy and personal expression. And that is what separates us from the emo style and goth style and the preps and jocks. It’s a style all its own and its a style that is hard to achive because of its various ways to do it.
So to end with, scene is amazing and awesome and perfectly fine to be no matter what any people say, even if you do get looks becaus eof big blue hair.

I think tjat an important thing to a sene outfit is eyeliner. This can go wrong many ways though. You want to make it look intence and dramatic not so harsh. If the deges of your eyeliner is to harsh and sharp edged it will look to harsh. You want to smootj the edges of your eyeliner then add black eyeshadow over it so it looks more intenceand dramatic then harsh. Remember always use lotts of black
