How to Apply Scene Make UP

  Apply Scene Eye Makeup

So, you want to know how to put on cute, outrageous scene makeup. It takes some time, and mastery of wild color combination, but anyone can become a Scene makeup expert. Feeling a desire to finish off your Scene look with amazing makeup? Well, friend, you've come to the right place.

 Tips
Many scene kids keep their mascara and eyeliner and the rest of their makeup simple. The eyes are the main focus, so never let the rest of your makeup overpower them. Sheer lip gloss, if any, is best, and the pale look is always welcome.

Liquid eyeliner is not a must, but it help(See Kiki Kannibal for ideas). You can also use pencil liner for a more natural look (Think CarylCatastrophe).

The power of Fake eyelashes should not be underestimated for a scene look. Tame fake eyelashes can be bought inexpensively at almost any drugstore. If you are seeking a more dramatic/glamorous/extreme look, like Jeffree Star attains with his use of lashes, then you may need to try shopping online using search terms such as "Fake Eyelashes" and/or "False Eyelashes". Always buy a full band instead of individual hairs, and be sure they include a tube of eyelash glue, or that you buy appropriate eyelash glue with any lashes you purchase. (Duo Adhesive is the best eyelash glue if you can get it). The adhesive that comes on the lashes will not stay on your eyelid. Read the directions on the package.

Some scene kids not only wing out their eyeliner, but apply different artistic techniques, like drawn on eyelashes, dots outside of the wing and stars or other shapes.

Top your eyelids with a translucent powder for more staying power.

Try putting on black eyeliner on the bottom and a color on the top. Keep in mind that if you do this you might want to skip the shadow.

Take into consideration your eye color when you are buying makeup.

Be creative, make up your own signature scene look.

The idea of this is to have fun looking different , so don't try this unless you are up for someone saying "What are you wearing on your face?!" Be proud of who you are and don't be afraid to strut your eye make up!

 Warnings
Some parents and schools will not like this. If not, do not sneak around and do it, as this will just make them think you are immature. You could always tone down the look by only using eyeliner and mascara, if it comes to this, what i do, and recommend doing, is putting on liquid eyeliner on as you usually would, then bring it in to the inside corners of your eye to make somewhat of a triangle and connect it to line your top and bottom. *just a tip..make sure the line on the inside is thin, otherwise you will look like a hot mess raccoon:p

Scene makeup can take numerous tries. Don't be discouraged, and soon you will end up with the perfect look- it will just take some experimentation and practice!

If you're going to be wearing fake eyelashes, remember that the best eyelashes are 100% human hair eyelashes, go for the wispy, soft looking ones instead of the chunky, thick ones.

Make sure you DO NOT get the liquid eye liner inside your eyes.
